My First Long Road Trip in the USA

I am going to tell you about my first long road trip after I arrived here in California from the Philippines.  It’s amazing how you can travel here from state to state without any hassle of taking the boat and then road again like when you travel from island to island in the Philippines. It’s very hard when you move from your home town to another country.  You feel home sick, very lonely and just too alone.  I am glad that my husband took me on a long trip for several weeks before he went back to work.  The first road trip is from Shingle Springs to Lake Tahoe.  You can see here on the Map below, Shingle Springs is in El Dorado Country and we traveled through the National Forest to Lake Tahoe.  The road is very good and very clean compared to what we have in the Philippines.
