Next trip from Lake Tahoe to Reno, Nevada.  They call Reno the Biggest Little City in the World. Reno is famous for its casinos. I felt like a kid again.  The lights are beautiful with so many restaurants and casinos.  We had a good time.  For me, Reno was much better than Lake Tahoe.  When it comes to outdoor activities, it is time to choose either Lake Tahoe or Reno, Nevada.  You can find mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing.  If you want a day at the beach on the lake or on the slopes you can find it there.  If you like fishing or hunting, you can find it when you get to your destination at the Lake Tahoe or Reno.  You can get fishing or hunting permits or licenses if you like those activities during the appropriate seasons.  These areas are really good before the winter season.  It’s too cold for me during winter so if you are thinking of coming to this area, I recommend coming during the warmer or summer time.  During the summer months, wild island Water Park has everything from a dip in the wave pool, or you can float the afternoon away on an inner tube.

They feature fun for all ages with the best headlining entertainment and free live music.  Be sure to catch one of the fantastic free circus shows on the Midway Stage.  I couldn’t believe that if you are there at the right time that you could see free circus shows on the stage at the Circus Circus Casino Hotel.  The shows are amazing and FREE.
