Phoenix is famous for palm-tree-shrouded resorts, desert golf courses and elegant fashion centers. I was also very excited arriving in Phoenix because I knew someone from the Philippines who was living there. Phoenix is the capital of Arizona and its largest city. With a population of about 1.5 million, Phoenix is the most populous state capital in the United States, as well as the sixth most populous city proper.
